Ansoumana is currently resident artist in several schools around Warwickshire including Round Oak, St. Marys RC, Clapham Terrace, Kenilworth, Clinton Primary and more…..
We can work up a specific programme of music and/or dance to fit the needs of your school and your learning outcome requirements. Both teachers have over 15 years experience and their knowledge is second to none. We can provide all equipment, notation and are able to work towards performances and recordings. We have an in-house bid writer who is very experienced at creating partnership bids to help fund activities. Eliza works as a sessional music teacher for Ealing Music Service and runs the djembe ensemble at Kingston University. She also runs music projects in schools in collaboration with other musicians as well as teaching community groups in and outside London. She regularly organises West African dance and music workshops in London with visiting teachers and artists to support her work. She is working to develop an annual programme of regular workshops and ongoing tuition in West African music and dance for adults. For more information, visit www.djembeschool.org.
